Confident Character Trait

The confident character trait allows someone to feel or understand their own powers and believe in their ability to do something well, even if others believe they cannot. The confident person does not need validation to feel capable. Often times, when someone has a dominant confident character trait, that person will try to accomplish something solely because other people have told them they cannot do it. If the confident character trait is steering things, it will often prompt someone to say, "Challenge accepted."

The confident character trait wants to feed itself by pushing a person to test their limits. By trying new things and succeeding at a level one finds acceptable, one's confidence increases. The confident person understands by pushing themselves to overcome new challenges, they learn new skills through their experience, and become more capable of overcoming future challenges.
